C'mon Gerry, tell us the whole story, all about their arrival in Waterford, the commotion in the zone, licences, registration letters, and how the IAA and everybody at Waterford went to so much trouble to sort it all out.
I'd hate to have been in the same boat in France.
Do tell please!

Hi Gerry

It's definitely a Land Africa parked by the hedge with a small black thing flying over it.

I think 'small black thing' is about as good as it gets for 5 points... still not exactly sure what it is, definitely part sonex, v tail, but there the similarity ends, totally different wings (higher aspect ratio) 2 cylinder japanese 60 HP engine, 'glider type' spoilers on top of wings.. Apparently built in Italy, Fast... 200 kmph cruise, 100 kmph stall (abrupt!) not a short strip machine... unforgiving in pitch on landing... you don't sit, you lie down in it ... the cockpit is tiny. No shoes, they get in the way... no view out the front during take-off or landing... but what a looker... 8)

Well done guys! Have 5 points each! In fact, for the Monnet Moni ID have 50  The guy that owns it only speaks a word or 2 of ICAO level 1  so it's not been easy finding out what it is... I believe it oiginally had a monowheel undercarriage...

Here's another pic - never too dark to be cool ..

Hi there,
It looks very stealthy, altogether, and then you go and spoil the effect by putting a Ginger inside it;) Why not sell it to the Army as a UAV? They tend to lose theirs....
