USAF C135

This is an ancient picture of my dad's.
Pictured is a USAF C135 that accompanied President Richard Nixon on his arrival at Shannon in October 1970, what exact variant is it, why is it painted so stylishly and what was it used for does anyone know?
Note the strange forward door....

Thats for CIA etc. something painted differently from reg ac is always governmental.

Whats the difference between a 707 and a C135 when its at home then chaps?

The forward soor is a Cargo door.

c135 is the military version and usually that means that everything that can be upgraded IS upgraded.

On the outside, it looks a cargo door, but look inside this - it is blocked-up, with just a small normal entrance.....
