I think their PA28 works out around €112 per hour wet! Just give them a call and im sure they will let you know.
I do believe that the two new tecnams they have are even cheaper!
But, i cant be 100%
Their Tecnam Sierras cost €119 per tach hour wet - that works out about €85 per real flying hour.
If you join the club before the end of the month, they offer a discounted membership fee.
I OWN THE SUN
I would prefer a private aircraft, ie, not a club aircraft where I have to pay additional membership fee's and instructor check out fee's.
In better times !!! I often rented (for the purpous of touring the country, sheer enjoyment of flying, hour building etc) a privatley owned C172 & SR22 that was based in Weston and also an R44.
I have been unable to do much flying myself over the past year or so ( Had to tighten up the belt due to the recession and over all business down turn in my fathers company).
Because of the downturn I have had to stop my rotor head spinning and resort to finding a cheap aeroplane to fly just so I can keep 1 of my PPL's current at least and not to let me loose my love for flight.
Thanks to this thread, and a certain someone in Trevet airfield who sent me a very kind PM, my problem has been solved. I shall be back in Irish skies next week
