Flying in Ireland meet up Sunday 1st March EIAB airfield

Post by Flyer1 » Thu Jan 15, 2009 7:30 pm

Hi everyone,

This has already been posted in Irish General Aviation section but just in case some people don't see.

We're planning to meet up in Abbeyshrule airfield on Sunday 1st March around 11am. Fly, drive, or sail, take your pick !

If you're flying bring plenty of fuel, who knows, the possibility of a spin down as far as Birr or Kilkenny might be on the agenda.

Flyer, I think we'll crack out the Tecnam for this one?

Can't wait!

Does not really affect me aa I will drive, what if people have a spare seat going.
You pass this way but once, there is no such thing as normal. There is you and the rest, now and forever. Do as you damn well please or you could end up being a pot-bellied, hairless boring old fart.

Ifty, I'd offer you a seat but you'd have to drive a long way to get to it!

If i've got any spare seats it's there. You're welcome to it ifty except you'd have an even longer way to drive.

Nanolight we'll arrange to crack you out somehow, even if you have to be some expensive ballast :).

Do you have much more to get the piece o' paper ?

Note to Nanolight: Bring a sick bag.

Just have to apply. I am out of practice now though, cause I was away and now our runway's a bit on the soggy side :x

But another hour or two with my nose to the grindstone and I should be laughin :)

I'll be there in the 172. Had to give my left arm to get the aircraft for that day.
