Parachuting in Nenagh Area - Be Aware!

Post by skydiveireland » Wed Jun 27, 2007 10:53 am

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that we have a newly licensed field approx 5NM SW of Nenagh, designated EIER (Erinagh). (5248.752N 008.16940W). The primary activity at the moment is intensive parachuting every weekend and also periodically during the weekdays.

I would kindly ask that you spread the word to make the aviation community aware of it for safety. We had been filing NOTAMS but since we are now listed in the current AIP ENR 5.5 we do not file NOTAMS anymore. But anytime we are active SNN ATC are aware of it so it is smart to check with them if your in the area.

We are awaiting our frequency which we hope to have soon and when we do get one I will post it here and on our website. In the mean time when we are active we are available on 12345 for information only.

Helicopters and Parachutes don't go well together.... Be safe!
