Strange helo

Post by mini »

Hi guys, over the past few weeks I've noticed a helo flying around the south east, it could best be described as A109 ish in shape & size but with CH46 size sponsons. Its light coloured and very noisy. Anyone tell me what it is?

I initially assumed it might be the new Aer Corps AW 139, but it doesn't seem to match.

Having Googled all the suggestions (apart from the R22... ahem) JFH with the B430 would seem to be the most likely, I hadn't noted the tail planes, if I see it again I'll be more attentive & will report back.

Thanks all,
