Limerick Flying Club - Coonagh Fly-in - 13/14 August 2011

Following on from the success of last year's event we are hoping to go bigger and better on Aug 13th and 14th.

Accommodation available at nearby Travel Lodge. BBQ on the Saturday night.

All old and hopefully new friends are more than welcome to join us.

Hi all

As the fly-in season is well and truly underway I'd like to post a timely reminder of the planned fly-in and BBQ to be held at Coonagh on 13th and 14th August.

For those who were there last year the format should follow similar lines.

A warm welcome
Good food (full BBQ in the hangar and throughout the afternoon)
Great Craic
Lots of hangar talk - to be believed or not
Black stuff on tap
Hotel down the road or camp / bed down on the airfield or in the club house
Alka Seltzers and brunch on Sunday

The one thing we cannot guarantee is the weather - so fingers crossed.

This is a brief reminder about our forthcoming fly-in and BBQ. Please see the attached link for airfield information. Note all circuits to the south of the airfield. Flight plans not required.

I understand we will have a few well known visitors to show off their machines.

Please send me PM's or put a comment on Facebook if planning to join us. In particular we are trying to get a handle on numbers for the BBQ on Saturday night. Cost for evening meal and one drink is 15 euro. Complimentary burgers etc during the afternoon for all visiting crews.

We hope the weather is kind and we look forward to seeing all our old and indeed new friends.
