On Sunday I logged on to the live ATC feed for Runway 36 with webcam for over two hours.

The performance of the controllers was amazing. To see and hear so many aircraft being handled in such a short space of time. While I was watching they dealt with the mass arrival of 29 commanches. They also had to contend with an undercarriage collapse on the main runway.

It makes one want to get up and head there. Next year perhaps - if this period of doom and gloom ends.

Enjoy the trip "RV" and keep the reports coming.

Here's more video......home now after a great trip....once again Oshkosh provides something for everybody....its probbaly the largest public relations platform in the world, every year more big companies are attending, not nessesarly aviation related. Its a feast, and a must for all aviators at least once.

PS One painful side effect, once you go there it makes every other airshow look "timid"....lol

Brilliant ! However, in keeping with other current threads on here, far to few Hi-vis jackets and H & S here would have a fit at how close to dangerous machinery people were getting
