Dates?

Post by hum » Fri Feb 20, 2009 5:13 pm

I reckon this whole thread is about last year's show... the quote in the first post is from the Galway Examiner on 15th May 2008.

15th June this year is the 90th anniversary of the historic event, however, it is a Monday...

There was information on the 'net about a 90th anniversary show this year on Sat 13th, however, this has been removed and the dates are now TBC...

Anyone know if a show is in fact planned for this year? If so, when is it?

Don't think that any shows are planned for 2009.

What do you say we all chip in a get the Vulcan bomber to do a low pass over Mr Ó Cuaig's house? Operation Green Buck...we could call it!

I reckon the vulcan is shafted (lack of money) and will never fly again, it is the ultimate mahine in my eyes.
You pass this way but once, there is no such thing as normal. There is you and the rest, now and forever. Do as you damn well please or you could end up being a pot-bellied, hairless boring old fart.

I believe that there's a rumour that she (vulcan) may be heading across the pond to the US?

And we roll off topic once again   8)

Well there shouldn't be a problem for the Aircorps to attend because they are using civilian planes and helicopters anyway, only the paint makes them military! What a load of B****
