Anglo Irish Vintage & Classic Fly-in 2008 Kilkenny

Regretably the Anglo Irish Vintage & Classic Fly-in due to be held over the 23rd/24th August at Kilkenny has been cancelled. The runway is waterlogged and would not stand up to the heavy use expected during a fly-in.

Hi guys,

I've just been contacted by two people saying that this fly-in is not cancelled and will go ahead as planned, can anyone confirm?

I was there this evening. Some planes have flown in, and there are people camping. I don't know the official status though, these might have been people who didn't get the cancellation message in time.

I would suggest you give Kilkenny a call to be on the safe side. Number's on the KKFC-GC website.
