Hi Hum,
I though my comment would provoke a response!!
Its really Depends what your used to, Ordinary it is for me.
I went last year for the 2 days only really for the DC-6 and Tiffie and yes there was a good line up but this year lacks a bit of oomph for me, unless your into light aircraft and Helis and much of it is duplicated from last year so not much of a pull for me there. Maybe will look at it agiain for 2009.
From a viewpoint the topography prevents fast jets coming close are too far out for photography, The light stuff come nice a close and by god it was cold standing on that headland for sure.
As it says on the promo, its family entertainment at its best and as you say it free and the only show up north and with the Reds there there will be a gauranteed crowd on tap even without the Vulcan. I wish them luck. but I'll go to leuchars to see the Avro 698 instead.
I see EI-HUM is down to go. Enjoy it and bring a warm jacket!!, If your flying in it which I presume from your board name and pic you are, don't forgot the do a flyby of the eastern headland nice and low with topside for the lads taking pics, they will appreciate it!!....
Cheers
George.
