SAAC Fly-in 2007

Post by stovepipe » Fri Jun 29, 2007 6:51 am

Hi all
The SAAC Fly-In will take place on the last weekend in JULY this year. The weather gods are being prayed to and sacrifices made to generate blue skies.I'm sure the usual suspects will turn up for grub, aviation lies/stories and a beer or two.Usual place, SAAC Field, near Taghmon, County Wexford.

Sorry, folks
the SAAC fly-in has been pushed back to it's original date of the 25th/26th August as the crop around the runway has been affected by the bad weather and is not yet collected.

Sorry Folks
The runway at SAAC Field is not in fit condition for flight nor is the field adjacent where the Marquee is usually erected yet harvested, so poor conditions underfoot have forced the cancellation. A Breakfast Fly-In will take place in the future, as soon as the weather gods see fit.
