Doing pretend army stuff on Sun but I'll be sure to pop out to the airfield and say hello if I get off in time.

Sure you might even wrap a sausage in a bit o tinfoil for me!

Barbeque the pigeon,

Nano
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Sadly I cant make it Flyer1 as I am sick and just home but on the brighter side I want you to book a check out for solo hire in one of the finest PA-28's and/or maybe the TB-9 for next Sunday as I will be down in Waterford working for that weekend and week but I have Sunday off so I'm not going home!! :P

Hi Flyer 1

Didnt make it down as the weather in Abbeyshrule was pretty desperate. Had to content myself with a day of watching rugby & doing the shopping!

Hi guys, on behalf of myself and JFH i'd like to thank Brian, laura, Tanya and all the gang that organised the bbq, the hospitality shown was unrivalled anywhere else i've flown into!!
Waterford is a beautiful place and I can now see myself becoming a more regular visitor. It's a shame the weather hampered the turn out, but what's say ye try again for next year!?!?
Thanks again : Donal Williams

Hi guys,

Sorry we couldn't make it. Weather in EIDW never got above BKN010 -RNDZ. Really disappoined to miss it this year :(

We had a good time even though the turnout wasn't as big as last year!

Thanks to everyone who helped organise - Andrew, Brian, Laura and Michael, and everyone else who helped!

Thanks also to everyone who braved the wind and rain to show up to it! It was great to see and meet everyone who came!

Hopefully next year the weather will be more in favour of a barbeque! And hopefully see you all there then!

Tanya :)

Never lifted at all Saturday in Letterkenny...... Could not get airborne at all....and we had planned 3 aircraft for Waterford...weather is the uncontrollable variable,... Yesterday (Sunday) was fine..made it to the fly-in in Islay in Scotland.
