Limerick Flying Club Fly-in August 12th

Hi All

Limerick FC are planning to host a fly-in on Saturday Aug 12th. All welcome subject to aircraft v airfield performance.

Event is very informal with emphasis on spot landing competition and hangar talk. A party will be held in the clubhouse that evening. Accommodation should be available at the Travelodge about 2 minutes drive from the airfield. Phone 0818-202208. Lifts to hotel available.

Avgas and Mogas available. Frquency 129.9. Airfield 061-326600 / 085-1382386.

there will be plenty of tea and grub available throughout the day and evening.

Just out of curiosity, is parking fairly widely available ? Might consider taking a spin in. Good practise for Short Field landings. Well I can stop it in less then 200m here so hopefully the same theory should work.
