Rotax Mandatory Alert Safety Bulletin

Post by Higgie »

Hi All
Rotax have issued an ASB

THis is with with regard to Faulty crankshafts manufactured approximately one year ago and fitted to various 912 Uls between Serial No's 6,777,492 and 6,777,690 and to 912 ul between serial numbers 6,770,159 and 6,770,184.
As far as I can tell we dont have any of the affected engines on our books but if you have recently purchased a new engine or fitted a new crankshaft then you need to check the serial numbers.

Also the serial numbers are different for any of you that may have a certified or EASA permit aircraft
regards
Padraig
