2 stroke oil

Post by hedgehopper » Sun Jun 05, 2011 12:44 pm

hi folks, we have been running our rotax 582 blue top on castrol fully synthetic tts for the last few years but it is no longer available or is in the process of been withdrawn from the irish market and replaced by castrol fully synthetic power 1 racing 2 stroke oil . has anyone had any experience of using the new oil or can anyone recommend an alternative oil of equal quality ? thanks in advance.

Shell VSX 2 stroke, available in semi-synthetic or full synthetic. Used in my 582 when I had it, many of the planes based here are using it too for years. Advance VSX 2t=Semi synthtic and Advance ultra 2t=fully synthetic. I sold quite a lot of the 20 litre drums of it, unfortunately I have none left right now.
