Aresti diagrams

Post by Glenn » Mon Sep 07, 2009 5:39 pm

Im wondering is there such thing as an Aresti diagram maker?

What im looking for is something where you would be able to select a figure and insert it in a diagram and pick the next figure etc..

Just want to mess around and try to learn and interpret the Aresti concept.

Yes, it's called Olan - One Letter Aerobatic Notation. Made by Mike Golan.

Thats great, exactly what i'm looking for. I can see myself messing with that for the next few hours.

Being over at WAC really made me want to find out more about everything aerobatic.

Thanks for that.

No worries. Make sure to check out the demo sequences provided...

There was some very inspirational flying at WAC. Tough to come away from it without feeling excited about the sport.

Tottaly agree. The standard of flying was outstanding and id love to try my hand at some basic stuff. Hopefully i'll do it when I eventually head to america.

Is OLAN the accepted notation used in conjuction with the aresti diagram?

Yep, Olan seems to be the standard program used for creating sequences. There's also Aresti Visio but I haven't tried it: http://www.worldaerobatics.com/Aresti2009/Software.htm
