Around the World Trips

Post by Rallye EIBFP » Sat Jan 28, 2006 7:56 pm

Hi all,

Anyone ever done the around the world hop? I am considering doing it with some friends when we leave school, taking the route Ireland-Dubai-Perth-Brisbane-Sydney-Wellington (New Zealand)-Los Angeles-Orlando-Hawaii-New York-Boston-Toronto-Newfoundland-Iceland-England-Ireland

Any advice from anyone who has taken the trip would be appriciated.

Ive always thought of it myself, but unsure if I'd be up for it. I think alot of travel agents do special deals.

btw, I think you must have mixed up a leg up there... Los Angelos - Orlando - Hawaii? You'd just be going backwards to Hawaii.. would that not come after Wellington? :)

Let me know any prices if you get any!

I am still unsure of its geographical location

EI to Dubai for two people was ?440, but then when I priced with Emirates from Dubai to Brisbane it was ?2747! I have found a fair few sites with info, alot of them say avoid travel agent packages but get the travel agents to tailor your trip for you.....tough job! The fare from Wellington to LAX was approx 600e which was.....OK.........have not got the cash though!!!!!!
