For the sheer torture of it I won't say yet what you have right or wrong or the answers to ones you missed and let a couple of others make a go of it.

Great idea P8, here's my guess....
3. Runway 29 at Dublin
5. Belfast City

Well done Mark but still one incorrect.

P no. 3 is the runway at EINN(shannon)!! Am i correct?

G-JOYT aerodrome 3 is not any runway at Shannon. Mark has this one correct. There is another one that is incorrect still however.

Well since noone seems to be certain I'll add a hint. Aerodrome 7 is not Ballyhalbert. Try a bit further west.

Is it in Ireland? Can an airfield be in it twice? Could it be Brittas Bay?.. No?..
Posted: Sun Aug 19, 2007 9:49 pm
I think aerodrome 7 might be Nutts Corner?

Well done Mark. It was actually the main airport in Northern Ireland for a period after WW2 until the 1960's. More can be found here
Now that you have correctly answered all of them perhaps you might throw up a photo of somewhere and see if we can guess the airfield, cockpit, aviation-related building or airline etc. keeping in line with Irish Aviation. Whoever guesses correctly gets to post their own of if they don't have a photo they can state it 'open' for anyone to post. Might be a bit of craic and i have seen it work well before in other fora.

Definatly Nutts Corner!! Why didn't I recognise it!?!? I done a practice x-country to there when I was completing my licence up north in 2003/2004
*Edit*Just a note I was typing this at the same time as the post above*

Sounds like a challenge
I'm trying to finish the September magazine at the moment but give me a few days and I'll come up with something!

Well done Mark. I knew it was ex WWII, but did not think of
Nutts Corner. I have a couple of aerials of strips, but I still
have'nt figured out how to send them to the forum. I can
post via standard e-mail.
