Heli training and heli circuit at Weston

Post by tu154 »

The new heli 'circuit' at Weston. Discuss.

Personally I think its a joke and there's no point doing circuits there at present. Were any of the operators even consulted? Not getting much value for your heli euro there.

All circuits in the south area, very tight circuit, downwind might last 60 seconds if you're lucky, tricky to lose the height from the circuit never mind doing a standard join.

Eirecopter get my vote. I believe EHA don't have any 22s at present, only the Sweitzer. Possibly an easier, and more comfortable machine to fly in, but slower and slightly more expensive per hour.
