Ive built the Dominator gyroplane EI-DZO. I'm really impressed with its flying qualities and its reliability. Its a Super aircraft. Its rare that an aircraft is both stable and highly maneuverable, you generally have to trade one quality off for a gain in another. This aircraft is the exception.

It has a bit of an ungainly appearance but this is to get the propeller thrustline in line with the centre of mass of the aircraft. This, and a horizontal stabiliser provide superb pitch stability.

The real benefit with flying the Dominator is its weather window, this will happily fly in winds that would ground a lot of other aircraft. Its a while since I've flown it as I've let its Permit expire as I was flying the ELA07 and setting up the gyroplane flight school, but I hope to have it re-permitted next month and Ill get a bit of flying in it between instructional flights!
