I was looking at the cost of running the heli this year relating to the amount of hours i was putting up on the machine for 08.The hours look a lot less than last year so rate per hour goes up, ie fixed costs stay as same. How many hours a year are you doing and what are you flying.
Total cost per year? About 7 gallons of nitro at £18 a gallon. Fixed costs are my shed, which is a workstation, fully insulated, with a thermostat heater, have'nt a clue what the heating cost is as my son probably uses more with the celing fan in his bedroom which he even uses in winter. In addition to these cost I did have to replace £95 pounds worth of parts on the venture after an unsuccessful nose in effort, it included £55 for main blades by sab.
You think I am nuts, dont you?
