Bit weird alright! Did the rotor catch something?

Not much details given in the article - just comments on the person who filmed it.

Only noteworthy point is the pilot escaped without injury by himself.

He was landing on a dolly and bounced off it. He then tried to reposition and made a bit of a hash of it.

Not always an easy thing to land on.

the pilot landed on a dolly. he screwed up the landing and it looks like the left rear skid got caught under the left side of the dolly. he then picked up the helicopter to try again and induced a kind of dynamic rollover and loss of control mixed in. the astar is tricky to land smothly in the best of times. maybe it was windy, perhapse a cross wind who knows. also when low on fuel its squirley as there are no baffles in the fuel tank. not sure what i would have done if i found myself in that situation. i now know that i would shut down and call maintance and eat my pride.
