Irish heli pilots abroad

Post by PB » Thu Aug 30, 2007 11:59 pm

Hi everyone,

Just wondering how many Irish heli pilots there are abroad reading this. I'm in Los Angeles. Anyone else over here or coming over here? Give me a shout!

I am also Irish, in LA and have been for 12 years. Maybe talk to you on .02, where do you fly out of? I fly out of VNY and CMA.

Also working the north sea, from Shetland. Flying to rigs every day now, have spent nearly 2 years on SAR up here too. Little stint in Africa before I got this job just to add some spice....

The chief pilot at Helinet in LA is a Wicklow man.

I actually work for Helinet, I'm a camera operator for a station in Philadelphia. John has moved on awhile back. Helinet has just got out of the ENG buissness with the exception of the LA area. Great company to work for.

You could be right about John they are keeping the charter and medi vac operations, so he could be operating the S 76. Nice guy, talked with him many times, during is visits to our base as chief pilot.
