Now for something different.. was just sifting through my old pictures and came across some pics of when I got up close and personal to Coast Guard S61 EI-MES. There was a Mayday hoax in May 05 and Navy, Coast Guard and trawlers searched the sea just off Greystones. I went down to have a look at the activity at the Harbour, when next minute I saw MES landing at the football grounds towards Bray Head. Thankfully I had my bike with me so cycled as fast as I could to the grounds, where I got nice and close to the chopper (they were transferring a woman with a broken leg into an ambulance). Anyway, it was one exciting day I never realised how big and powerful those birds were until I stood about 10m away from it

Did the seaplane trip out of there myself in 2005. Ah the memories.

Yeah, have a few snaps of them too. Took the seaplane trip to 'Hamo' for 100 AUD each and they kindly added on the seaplane trip to Whitehaven for another 100. Result! That one even included free champagne lunch, very impressive for the price. Will try postin snap of Whitehaven.
Did a dive at Reefworld, while I was there the helis were out to the floating helipad. Great feeling surfacing after a nice dive to see a 222 over your head at 200ft.............

Not sure if its the same S92, but last summer we took our helicopter to Keystone Helicopters in Pensylvania (Owned by Sikorsky) and the S92 in your pic was just compleated ready to go out the door of the factory. We got a tour of it...nice ship.....
