the new aircorps heli

Has any 1 seen the new air corps helicopter the augusta... i was luky enuf t b at baldonnel wen they flew in.... they are totaly different frm the othr heli's they hav there... it will b sad to see the allouettes and the dauphin's go tho .....

Lisa, see... amazing aircraft though. I very much have to agree there will be alot of people upset with loss of the Dauphins and the Allouettes.

I will throw my 2 bobs worth in, if you are talking about the AW139 its AGUSTA WESTLAND, or the A109 its AGUSTA.

Why are the dauphins being retired? I had heard there is problems supporting the compouters etc because they were almost one off types, and some issues around loads they can or cannot carry, but those machines are not nearly as elderly as the A3's.
