Can we clarify are the GASU getting 1 or 2 EC135s, read a report that a second will be delivered next year?

Think its 2 EC135's that would bring their total airborne assets to 5? 4 Heli's and the Defender, the latter was over Galway today.
Irish Air Letter Issue #381 states that Serials 272 and 273 are said to be reserved for two EC135s for the GASU but that does not necessarily mean that an order for same has actually been placed.

I think the ASU will be getting 1 135 it may well be they have a option on a 2nd.........DS you are quite correct with WOW but where do you get your info from as its only just registered

The GASU currently operate 1 x EC 135,1 x Twin Squirrel, and 1 X fixed wing(Defender) with another EC 135 on order, it was due to be delivered in the 4th quarter of this year. This has now been delayed untill 2007. When the second 135 arrives and becomes operational the twin sqirrel will then be put on the market for sale.It has been said, although not confirmed that the Squirrel might be operated by the Garda traffic corp.
