Question Confusion - Oxford PPL Books

Post by johnc24 » Tue Jul 17, 2012 12:24 am

Hi folks

I am studying Air Law using the Oxford PPL books.

After chapter 1 on the revision questions I have one that is confusing me.

Q. An Aircraft which has failed CofA but nevertheless has written details of the reasons why it had so failed shall?

a. Not take part in International navigation
b. Be allowed to depart another contracting states airspace but cannot enter it
c.Be allowed to enter another contracting states airspace but cannot depart until the failures are rectified
d. Not take part in international navigation except with the permission of the state, or states whose territory is entered.

Reference to Article 39 the answer should be C but it gives the answer as being D. Anyone any thoughts?

A typo perhaps? Anyone else using the books who could enlighten me?

Many thanks
John

Page12 shows the answer should be C.
The back of the book says D.
They must not have realised the mistake and not included it in the corrections sheet :)

Thanks

my assumption was a typo - not much use to me though if it isn't on the correction sheet.
