Multi Engine aircraft rental

Post by KeithT » Sat Aug 15, 2009 1:17 pm

Can anyone tell me who operates the likes of Piper Seneca's, Beech Duchess, Cessna 310 etc in Ireland?

I am looking to rent one for a couple of hours with the intention of logging some PICus time.

I am also interested in anything in the right seat on the likes of a Chieftain etc just for experience.

So if anyone can help me let me know :D :)

NFC have a Duchess @ about 480 an hour (though you'd probably want to double check that price with them). Atlantic and PTC have Senecas I think.

That's about the price the last time I checked, like I said you'd want to double check to see what the exact price is. Would say ME time with any of the schools in the country comes in fairly similar.

Michael747 made a good point about the hiring out of the aircraft outside of an ME course - not sure if NFC would do that either. But sure no harm giving them a shout. Fraid I don't know what the state of play with Atlantic would be.

No problem thanks for the info. Thought it was a bit of a long shot anyway!!

I'll check with the NFC and see what they say.

PTC are 495 for the seminole. I'm not 100% on how much Atlantic is for the Seneca, but I'm guessing around the 450 mark. I very much doubt any of the schools will rent out the a/c just to build time. But in saying that they might if they're quiet!

PTC are 485 and they have Seminole's, as said earlier not sure if they will rent to someone not on a course with them.

Anyone Skytrace fliers know anything about the newly registered Seminole based at Weston, I believe it belongs to Skytrace/PTC.
