Did anyone who took the computor tests get taken into a room and told they had passed? Or are you all expecting a letter?

Not at the sitting I was at - it was pretty much finish up and leave. Given the amount of participants I would imagine that people wont be hearing until they have finished the aptitude tests - well I hope thats the way it works and not as described earlier otherwise it aint happening for me......

no, this didn't happen. You finished your test and you left.

If you passed, they will phone you and let you know so as to arrange an interview slot. A letter will follow then. How long after the test do they phone you? Just under a week maybe? Don't know really.

Haven't heard a thing myself, did them on Friday 21st. I've heard 1400 people applied and not 2000 mentioned earlier, our chances are improving!

I did my test Monday 24th @14:00. Thanks for the response.

1400 is better than 2000 but then it's all relative I guess.

I am just sat at home, wishing I had some idea how I did during the tests. It is so difficult to predict. Frustrating not knowing!!

I wish you all good luck, might see you sometime.

Got a call from the IAA today. Becareful about ringing them back if you miss it. Its the Gresham Hotel that comes up as the number, just ask for Confrencing and then the IAA. I also had a mobile number to ring as they tried 6 times to get in touch with me this morning, unfortunately I was in the middle of a lecture.

Long story short I passed the aptitude exam and got called for a preliminary interview for the end of October.

I'm pretty delighted. :)

All the best with it. I am not getting too hung up about it for the moment, if I get it I get it, if I dont I dont is the attitude I have. Hopefully that'll see me through. ("it" being the overall competition)

Hey,

I wouldn't say i made it to the interview,
Did really well in all the tests except 1
(Probably the most important one)....

It was the one where your givin the planes and are asked
to vector them via waypoints to the active runway!!!!

I have an ATC game at home so im actually brilliant on that,
but i didn't see the info paragraph at the bottom of the screen till question 18!!! And didn't have enough time to go back and do them!

I was awake 22 hours before i sat the tests
(Had a 12 hour shift in work), so, feck it.
It obvioulsy happened for a reason :D :D :D

I can do nothin but laugh about it now:D

Good luck to those who make it :D :D
Regards,
M747
