47k is very tempting! Sister got her letter yesterday.

Anybody know what the competition is like and how many controllers they're looking for? I heard that the last batch were pulled from the course before they completed it so reckon they'll have a head start.

Haven't heard of the competition being open in a few years so thought this referred to those students. Maybe for the students that didn't make the final interview then.

"Candidates who previously sat the test in the last three years will be precluded from re-sitting, and will be evaluated on their previous test results."

Dubai? Nice one, better than a rainy morning in Shannon

If you already have a PPL and are applying for this then would you skip some of the training? Anyone know?

Here's a wee article about ATC life and some helpfull knowledge.

According to the article, you do need a class One Medical.
    Good Luck!

Hi Airoshane, in the same boat as you, I'm 4/5/88. Its not end of the world if you don't get it. There's lots more aviation jobs out there. I think
