class 1 medical

class 1 medical

How tough is the class 1 medical is it really tough and when they say they examine everything do they mean everything(if you know what i mean)
and is it worth my while getting a class one cos i didn't even start trainning but i do intend to go professional :mrgreen:

It's not that it's tough, it's really just a pass or fail I found.

Got mine after a few hours, if you intend going on profesionaly then go for it before you start spending big money! Think about doing it after a few hours just to make sure you like the flying bit.

They'll quickly check the tackle, don't worry it's quick and painless!!

As a matter of interest... What's that check about?? It's sometimes done in the Class 2 also...

I was merely asked "got two testicles hanging freely down there?" to which I went o_0 "um. yeah?" and he got a little annoyed spouting on about how it was his job and he had to ask.

Did you do the Class 1 in the Mater??

Yeah I would definatly remember this... as I was saying did one in the RDF a few years ago too, seems standard

It's all well and good until he starts coming at you with the lollipop stick....

Ha, no seriously Airbus, can't believe you're letting this get to you, if you are about to embark upon the arduous journey that is the ATPL, getting a...ahem... 'full pre- flight inspection' from a Doc should be the least of your worries :P
