Hi guys,

Some of you may interested in this....

Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline, in conjunction with the National Flight Centre, Irelands largest Flight Training Organisation, will hold a recruitment seminar in the Terminal Building, Weston Airport on Monday May 7th 2007, starting at 5pm.

Refreshments throughout the evening and afterwards will be provided in the Skyview restaurant.

We at the National Flight Centre on behalf of ourselves and Ryanair, extend a warm welcome to pilots of all experience levels and those who are thinking of starting a career in aviation, to join us on the 7th May.

Please register your interest by sending an email to info@nfc.ie and we will forward further details to you as the date approaches.

We had one in PTC on Saturday. Interesting stuff, though I'd be hard pushed to give 31000 for the type rating.

and dont forget the next 10k for uniforms etc and then no wages for 6 months!
If you are asking me if this old plane is safe to fly, how do you think it got to be this old?

Very wise words.

Who was giving these talks? Anyone got a name of the Ryanair Person(s)??

Ryanair Recruitment day

Post by dessiejohn »

Hi,

As Shane said it was interesting, though nothing new to be honest if you'd known anything about their recruitment process before hand.

There were 4 people there 2 from Ryanair, 1 from CAE systems and then a gentleman from Brookfield, can't remember names I'm afraid.

The interesting aspect to it was that they only offer Brookfiled contracts to those pilots wanting to be based in Dublin, however it was also mentioned that nearly all positions for the Dublin base have been filled.

What was also interesting was that they were very upfront about what a SO would need to pay for and that it was 3 years to command, once you conclude your Line Training.

PM Me if you want to know more.

Des.

31000? So its gone up then? AH well more money for MOL. Did they tell ye that they forced all the current cadets into dublin on contract, they got a "take it or leave it" phone call from DD.

Ptc & Ryanair are well matched!

No I'm not PTC's biggest fan 900EX and in no way am I sticking up for PTC but I think its a bit silly to compare an FTO to Ryanair?
