Hello Folks here is some news from local papers........

Cabinet approval given for 27.5 investment in waterford Airport... This would consist of Runway extension from 1433mt to 1850 mt and also widened from 30mt to 45 mt.....also an improved terminal building (bigger I suppose) aerodrome safety, security, firefighting, navigation, and lighting facilities.....It is also planned to extend the apron to accomadate for a greater number of larger aircraft and executive jets.....design and work on these projects will begin immediately....

Also from a friend of mine said that the road to the airport has a contract that it has to be finished in 18 months....
