Dublin spotting

Post by ryr448l » Tue Sep 19, 2006 3:44 pm

Hi everyone, tomorrow I'm hoping to go out to Dublin airport as I started college up here and am only a few miles away from it now. I've been out the old airport road before at the spotting area along 28/10 but the difference was we had a car and drove out. Anyways my question is does anyone know does any buses go by on that road, I know the aircoaches go out to the terminal, so could some one point me in the right public transport to get out there please.
Thanks for your time :wink:

Hi Paul,

No bus goes directly to the layby, but the 16A, 746, 41, 41B (all from O Connell St.) go by the road perpendicular to 28/10. Get off there, and go walking :) You have a bit of a walk and theres no path, and its quite a dangerous road.Theres a large bank though along the perimeter fence, which you can walk safetly on.

Heres a quick image I did;

Going home, just walk back where you came from, cross the road, and wait for any bus saying "City Centre" on it :D

G.luck!
