Easyjet- Alot to be desired

Post by Rallye EIBFP » Sat Oct 29, 2005 8:50 pm

In all honesty - they suck.

I sat in Shannon until 1am one last Monday night picking up relations. The due arrival time was 2000. Absoloutely scandelous. Its always late! Who aggrees with me......? The flight was crap too I was told, quite uncomfortable.

Easyjet..................give up while the going is good!!!!

BFP

sounds a bit harsh for one flight - are there punctuality stats for Easy at SNN?

Sat till 1am?......at least it wasn't Ryanair. They'd have just cancelled the flight and told you exactly where you could go to!

Can hardly blame the airline if the flight was bumpy and uncomfortable. We don't control the Wx.....as many fog delayed pax seem to think.
Screw you guys.....I`m going home.......

Their punctuality stats are unavailble. As they are a disgrace. At least four flights of Easyjets to Shannon are delayed every week....... it was delayed due to 'Crew rest requirements'

I flew with EZY from NOC and I would choose them above Ryanair, even if it means paying more. (Within reason) I found their service excellent, their crew very friendly and on time.

8)

Well, I'm just back after a trip from SNN-LGW and LGW-JER. I can say, having also flown EZY from LGW to SNN, that it was an excellent airline with which to fly. I've flown EZY on a number of occasions now and have never had a problem with them; staff are friendly and pleasant; the quality of food on offer is perfectly acceptable (at least) and I found them excellent value. The A319 is, of course, a lovely aircraft in which to fly. So, I'm certainly glad they've stayed on the SNN route (there were fears that they might pull out) and I'll look forward to flying them again.

I don't mind flying with FR and frankly, there's very little to choose between the 738 and 319, but I tend to prefer EZY as they're more relaxed and lack FR's mean streak (baggage allowance, for example).

I dont like RYR's attitude, by walking up and down the aisles selling stuff you dont want (Scratch cards etc). I found EZY less "in your face", thats why I would prefer to fly EZY than RYR.

For arguements sake just done a quick comparision

Shannon - Gatwick return
SNN-LGW- 8 November
LGW-SNN 9 november

Ryanair- 17.52 including all taxes for one person return
Easyjet 58.36 including all taxes and a credit card fee for one person return

And the Ryanair site loads alot quicker

I'd make a great critic would'nt I??!!  :P :P

I'd still fly Easyjet in that situation... More expensive but atleast I can enjoy the flight at an affordable price.
