Yeah i'll have to apply this year.
Just started training there last week so as i definatly pass the physical
part of things :D

There's nothing on their website www.military.ie about 2007 yet though...

I was thinking of applying for the laugh just to see how far I could get.

As far as preparation goes, I'd learn a bit about how the army and the air corps as a function of the army works. I would see what qualities they are lookng for (on their site) and I would tailor my application to suit that. I would get fit and practice aptitude tests, and know the simple principles of how instruments/ wings/ engine work.

I just started jogging, running, sprinting etc....
and pull ups.
I'm gonna leave it for a while to start doing sit ups though
i never found these easy :roll: LOL

Circa 30 hrs flying, 7 years RDF and engineering degree.

The ould degree is worth a bit of extra marks in the interview!

''Higher Certificate in Engeering (Avionics)'' LOL
What a waste of time that course was :D
But it got me a fairly well paid job and probably will help me on my way...

Yeah it's in It Carlow.
It was a good laugh cause i didn't have to do too much study
cause i already had my PPL, but some of the lads studied 24*7.
Real bookworms they were.
I'd reccomend the course now though.
It used to be a 2 year Cert but they've changed it to a diploma
over 3 years now i think (Dutch will correct me if i'm wrong)
They have all the JAR's sorted now aswell so it looks promising for
future students.

Awh i'd love ta go back ta college :cry:

I just checked the site 2 hrs ago and it said the 1st of Feb :!:
Dont have a clue when the psysical will be, i'll find out off a
