When Animals go Bad.

Post by Cosmic »

Have been meaning to post these for a while. Friend of Mine worked in Tanzania, flying a C206,C210 and C208. No need for the story, the Pics speak for themselves!

Everyone walked away, they were lucky to say the least! Note the Neck Shaped Dent in the leading edge in the picture above.

He was about to rotate, he decided in a split second when he realized the collision was unavoidable, that it was better to hit it on the ground then just after take off. So he reckons somewhere between 50-80 kts.

Heres a few more:

I love the ones with the Lions, I wish I had it in original size.

Seen the photo with the lions before, it had a caption, which went
something like this:
Pilot to second officer-your turn to do the walk round, I believe!!!!.

Yeah its amazing how quick Pictures get forwarded around the Net. I remember I got it back a few days after it had been taken, with about a 1000 e-mail addreses at the top of the e-mail. Moral of the story: Don't send any pictures you don't want seen around the world by e-mail!

I think it was early last year in either "Pilot" or "Flyer"
