buying a headset soon. Somebody at EICN tells me the Dave Clarke ones are all the rage, but I know nothing about them really. Anybody care to give a brief synopsis - what type are recommended, cost, advantages, diasdvantages, etc.? Thanks.

Hi there, I have a pair of Dave Clarke noise cancelling. I spend about eight hundred hours in a helicopter each year. Alot I know but I can recomend Dave Clarke, no matter what model you buy. I did have a chance to try a set of Bose, they are the absolute best...but expensive. Withe the Dave Clarke there is a lifetime warrenty, every time I send them back its free including all parts...one cant beat that...its like anything else you get what you pay for...so buy high they will last....

    Happy Landings.

    Hi guys,

For anyone who's interested, NFC are selling ASA headsets (I think it's the HS-1 model)for ?150, a very good deal. Give them a call at (01) 6 282930 for more info.
