To All Pilots,
My name is Martin Lobert, I am an Argentinian traveler and I have been going around the world for a little over to years. In order to be able to travel this long, as some ore years hopefully, I must keep a very low budget, so my normal way of transportation is hitching rides. I have been hitch-hiking in the UK for the last 3 months, and in France 3 months before that. I have crossed the English Chanel hitching a ride in a sailboat, and I am planning on repeating that when crossing the Atlantic ocean back to the American continent. My hope and desire is to be able to hitch ride in a plane that is going from Ireland to England or mainland Europe.
The idea of hitching is not only for its economical advantage, but also from its ecological point of view. As I see it, there is an extra place in a vehicle that could be used for a minimum extra expense, without helping a very contaminating form of transportation as are commercial airplanes. So I am always willing to share costs if necessary just to void taking a commercial plane; such is the way I traveled while on the sailboat and many of my car rides.
I will be in Dublin in a few days; I am today in Belfast, and I will go around Ireland through the west coast, finishing in a visit to the Capital in the last days of the month. If you are interested on taking me in your plane ride, please contact me and I will happily answer any doubt or inquiry you may have.
Kind regards and good winds.
Hoping to see you soon,
