Aviation House Names

Post by Earhart » Wed Jul 03, 2013 6:48 pm

Supposing you wanted to name a house...... and you wanted the name to be clever and aviation related - what would you call it?

It would be best if it was clever and sounded normal to the uninitiated but those 'in the know' would understand e.g. Three Greens. Names like 'Airport View' or 'The Hangar' just wouldn't cut it!! An engineering slant to the name would also be cool.

Any ideas?

Ideas from [other forum name]
Three Greens
Amber One
Outer Marker
Descending Deadside
Wingspan
CAVOK
Don-cinq (don't sink)

Built my house in 1999, there has been flying in one guise or another around here since the 1980's.
There are 4 airfields within spitting distance !...and I called my house "GLENAVI" seeing that we are a glen full of aviators !
