Looking for share

Post by skydive_colin » Tue Jun 04, 2013 9:46 pm

Hi,

I am a SEP PPL with ~120hrs and am looking to purchase a share in a single engine touring aircraft based in Weston, Trevet or Trim (or basically anywhere north leinster).
So please let me know if you have any information.

Thanks
Colin

Hi Colin,
At the moment I don't know of any shares in your area but I know there is a share available in a Cherokee 180 based @ Kerry Airport.

What are your future plans? Do you hope to become an ATPL or are you just flying for a hobby? If it's just a hobby it might be worth thinking about Microlights as you would save a lot of money. There are some fantastic microlights in your general area where owners may sell a share. If you paid a visit to any of the summer flyins you could make inquiries to see if anyone is interested. Flyins @ Limetree near Portlaoise are always well attended and have a lot of aircraft based there.

Cheers and hope you find a suitable group.

Thanks Carrier Pigeon for the reply.
I'm in it just as a hobby. I'm renting from NFC at the moment.
I live in north Dublin so Kerry is not feasible.
I'll do some research on microlights. Please feel free to pm me if you've a microlight share available
Thanks
Colin
