plywood aviation opinion...

Post by celtico »

Hello Pilots...

Sorry to interrupt ...

I would like to hear your opinions, ideas, suggestions.

I have a possibility to sell okume plywood with 2 types of glue phenolic and normal. High quality plywood. I will build my plane with this plywood.

Fine thickness, 1.5 mm (0,060"), 2mm (0,078"), 2.5mm (0,098") and 3mm (0,011")
The size plywood produce is 2.500x1.200 (98,5" x 47,24"). Density 450 kg/m3

Could I sell it in pieces cutting it in half.

Could it be of interest to all aircraft builders?.

What do you think?.

thanks
Enrique

Hi,

From your post I don't know if you want to sell this stuff or buy it??? If you will build your own aircraft why sell??
I don't think anyone would buy a second hand plywood as it readily available from Aircraft Spruce with certification.

Good luck S.P.

Hello Sierra Papa

1º, I build my own plane with plywood. (only 15 pieces)

on the other hand:

2º, I have ability to manufacture plywood in quantity for other builders. (for example 30-50 pieces of plywood)
Can interest other builders in Ireland, buy plywood?.
Aircraft Spruce buy plywood in Europe.
