Narco AT150 loom

Post by milob »

Would anyone out there possibly have a wiring loom for a Narco AT150. The existing loom has multiple joins (badly) and the connector to the back of the unit is in a pretty bad way. We have issues with ATC not reading our squawk and have had the Transponder and Encoder bench tested so reckon it is a wiring issue.
Thanks

Hi
Give Lawrence a call at Mendelssohn Pilot Supplies in Scotland, tel 0044131 447 7777. He is a real helpful guy.
The connectors for the back of the Narco are still available from RS components, called a molex and the wiring is pretty straightforward to the encoder, any competent person who works with electronics would be fit to manufacturer the lead, but Mendelssohn's should be able to supply it "plug & play" compliant so to speak.
Hope this helps.

Jon
(PS) I have the schematic wiring diagrams for the AT150 to encoder should you need it, drop me a PM if so.

Milo,
I assume you have access to the AT150 manuals?
If not, Google "Narco AT150 schematic" for more than you need..J.

J.,
Yes, I have the schematic, thanks.
I have also managed to get a connector from IAE in Cranfield, so hopefully nearly sorted.
