I received my Aviators Guide 1st thing in the post this morning. A top class users guide that leaves no stone unturned re what to expect at all the strips in Ireland. Great photography, where a picture speaks a thousand words. I can only say well done to William and Lorcan.......I'll be using this guide as an essential part of my travels.

You certainly have the hardware to exploit the full potential of the book. The flying scene is very quiet, and I'm continually underwhelmed by how many people are out and about. We cant sort the recession, but with a lifetime's flying (& months of work...) condensed into a book/gps file for the price of a can of Mogas it's certainly a good deal. You have the end result of sitting in the airplane for months on end, wondering "where to today"....... Few of them still raise my pulse, over the tree's/wires and through the pole stays at Williamstown yesterday certainly got my full attention!! (as Racecrest can verify)

As for the DVD laura, its back to the drawing board to figure out how to make it interesting. Could end up dull very easily. The out takes could be the best bit.

Hi,
While it's a few years since it's publication there is still reasonable demand for the publication. We're making an eBook version, and we were going to make some amendments to things like frequencies, phone numbers and circuit joins. We'll amend anything listed on the website http://www.flightguide.me/updates.php but if there is something you noticed that is inaccurate then please send us a PM and we'll try sort it out for the eBook version. We probably won't reprint the printed book in the foreseeable future, but an eBook may offer a somewhat more affordable platform to do a totally revised Edition 3 - but again that's not something we'll be taking on anytime soon.

Hopefully the current version is still serving those interested in strip flying well.
