www.tickets.ie would appear to be the ticket portal, but for last few weeks, its been there, but with note that Tickets Not on Sale.

Where is the rumour emanating from? Any of the Display Acts on the forum heard anything?

Quote from tickets.ie
This show has been cancelled as The Red Arrows have been forced to withdraw from the event.

Hmm!
Threats of a ramp check, and an excuse needed for avoidance of the inevitable!
The arrows pulled out some time ago!
Perhaps the cancellation of certain fly-ins were were a recognized sign of times to come!

How much further can a situation such as this go? (If it exists)

Hopefully not much further!! :)

Are the organisers for Airshow 100 the same as the Mach 1 airshow back in June 06? .....

Such a shame, the line up for 100 was very good. Was really looking forward to the Swiss PC 7 team. As well as every thing else! :)

I very much doubt that the cancellation of this event had anything whatsoever to do with document checks - everyone taking part in a display has to provide copies of all their aircraft and personal documents beforehand - this is normal procedure here and elsewhere.

Looks like it was a business decision...
