hey all,ryanair operate 737-8AS aircraft as everybody knows and i was wondering is there many variants of the 737-800 as many photos i have come across say aircraft type 737-8Q8,737-85F etc basically my question is what does the the 8Q8 etc mean.

Aircraft model number. Im trying to get more info than that but cant find anything.

Same baseline aicraft with slight differences depending on an airline's own preferences/requirements. Can range from cabin fit out to avionics, radios,ACARS fit out etc.

There are so many variables that no two airlines will have exactly the same requirements, so each is given its own sub variant designation.
