would someone tell me the winning numbers!!!!

on a similar vien what do you think are the best looking planes ever built?
mine tend to be old types
SEP: BA Swallow or DH Hornet Moth
MEP:The 1930s DH Comet
Airliner: Toss up between Lockheed Constellation or 1950s DH Comet
Piston warbird: Hawker Fury biplane or Sea Fury,
Jet warbird: Hawker Hunter.

would it suprise you to know i had a spell working for Hawker Siddley and in the flight test office were superb factory archive pictures of Hawker and DH products.

The same here Hum. Definitely a F4U Corsair, never mind that it would probably kill me without prejudice. It would have to be a big Eurolotto win to afford something like that.

I'd first get a strip like yours Hum and a house to go with it. Then start collecting. Try and set up an Irish Shuttleworth collection with an Irish slant. Lots of classic aircraft and maybe a classic jet or two. Em? I wonder if there are any former fast jet pilots around who might like to fly my Hunter or Sabre? Any ideas? 8)

Wouldn't really bother with buying a biz jet or anything, Netjets can sort that out. I suppose I'd have to buy a helicopter. I wonder if any of the old Alouettes can be made airworthy?
