Wow what a day

What a day for flying that was! Had everything..... great vis most of the time, silky smooth air, fluffy clouds to cloud surf around ,people on beaches and golf courses and by the sound of it most of the GA fleet flying too but loads of space for everyone. Just one of those great days.

Long may it continue

It was just lovely. It was my wife's first time in a light aircraft, and she loved it. I'm sure everyone was out flying but it felt like we had the sky to ourselves - flew from Navan along the Boyne past Newgrange and the Hill of Slane to the coast near Drogheda at 2000 feet. Beautiful scenery for sightseeing and taking photos. Could clearly see the Isle of Man on the horizon. We couldn't have asked for better weather for her first flight.

I hope next weekend will offer more of the same!

Just back from Kilrush, first time visiting, great spot. Fair do's to all down there for keeping it in great shape. Echo what's been said above, I think someone up above is taking pity on us cos of the recession thing... :D Safe flying to all.
