I visit Killarney about once a year (my home town) but I never seem to be able to organise a flight, so this year I am planning ahead
I have a PPL and own aircraft (C172) here in South Africa. So willing to chip in costs of flight in Kerry or you can fly with me when if you visit South Africa. Don't worry I'll sit right seat, just want to see what it is like doing private flying in Ireland

I am in kerry 28-30 June.

As I cannot figure out how to paste a photo in here, Photo of my aircraft can be viewed on our local flying forum:

no problem thread incursion. Regarding the reg, the CAA very accomadating and the guys at the CAA know me because I work in the avaition field (accent gives me away  ) and one day when I was registering the C172 it was mentioned the IRL reg available, so I took it, and only cost me about 20 euro extra. (sure beats the boring reg's I had on my previous aircrafts).

Ironic, I am looking for an aircraft in Kerry and all I get a response from the US.

Hi WF,

It might be worth your while posting your thread in the GA section instead, and see what happens. Nice reg by the way.

Vx.

Hi,
I live in Kerry. Are you planning to land in Kerry? If so all you need to do is ring a few days before and let them know.
